Zirconia Implants When Your Teeth Have Been Missing For Years
This patient has been unhappy with wearing a small denture replacing a front tooth, and she had already lost another front tooth. She was not keen on a new bridge as it may be damaging to another tooth. After reviewing a Conebeam CT, a plan was made to place two Zirconia one-piece implants into her thin ridge of bone remaining. The width of the bone was expanded before placement, and after six months of healing, we were able to place three single crowns on her front teeth with excellent results and function.
